Every story is written by AI from public sources and lists its receipts: the documents, statements, data and footage behind it, so you can check our work.
How a story is made
Our system collects official statements, documents, data releases, reports and footage as they're published.
AI writes the story using only those sources.
A second AI pass, starting fresh, reads the draft next to the sources and flags anything unsupported: claims, quotes or numbers. Flagged drafts are not published.
Published with its sources listed and an archived copy of each. Changes are logged on the page.
How we use AI
The Torch Daily is written and published automatically by AI. No person reviews a story before it goes live. That's why every story shows its sources: you can check each claim yourself.
Every story lists its sources, and the double-check is built to catch claims, quotes or numbers the sources don't support. Some stories are never published automatically at all, including allegations against private individuals, stories about minors, unverified casualty figures and claims that only come from social media posts.

Privacy
What we collect. If you subscribe or follow a story, we store your email address, your preferences, the page you signed up from and your country (from your connection, not your precise location). We use it only to send you what you asked for.
Cookies and tracking. We don't use advertising cookies or cross-site trackers. Your browser remembers your theme and what you follow on this device. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to block bots. Videos come from YouTube and only load when you press play.
Who processes it. The site, database and email run on Cloudflare. We never sell your information.
Your choices. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. To get a copy of your data or have it deleted, email hello@torchdaily.com.
