White House says Trump announced $15 billion Mesabi Metallics steel mill in Iowa, citing thousands of jobs

The White House said in a series of posts on X on Monday that President Trump announced a new steel plant in Iowa to be built by Mesabi Metallics. It described the mill as a $15 billion project. [1][3]
