Zelenskyy urged people to take care and to respond to missile threat alerts. He wrote that Ukrainian services and the Air Force are ready to respond "as much as our defenses allow." [1]
He said much depends on foreign partners, meaning any country with the defensive capabilities Ukraine needs and the ability to provide them. Zelenskyy said political will to do so is especially important in the United States and Europe. [1]
Earlier the same day, Zelenskyy wrote on X that he held a coordination call with government officials, the military and key services. He said the Minister of Defense and the Commander of the Air Force reported on the deployment of air defense assets and the setting up of defense lines to protect designated key facilities. [2]
Zelenskyy said Ukraine is securing munitions for F-16 fighter jets, interception systems and interceptor missiles. He called anti-ballistic capabilities the biggest challenge and said the availability of those supplies depends entirely on partners. [2]
He also said Russian forces attacked several Ukrainian hospitals over the past day, in Kramatorsk and Kryvyi Rih, and that Ukrainian services responded. Zelenskyy added that officials and regional authorities prepared additional logistics solutions in response to what he described as a Russian operation against Ukrainian logistics. [2]
Zelenskyy said the government is preparing countermeasures and has set deadlines for a significant part of the tasks, with the highest-priority ones already being carried out. [2]
